At the young age of 15,  Brendan was approached to join  `The Overlanders’, the band was an Instrumental group at the time keeping in touch with the Shadows & Ventures music, the band decided to become a vocal group that needed a front man to continue, Brendan became the bands lead singer for 10 years.

Brendan entered and won a television talent spot, that gained him regular T.V exposure with many well known local and international artists on shows like `Six Tonight’, `The Morning Show’, `The Ernie Sigley Show’, Telethons and `The Good Friday Appeal’ over many years.

When`The Overlanders’ disbanded, a new band began `Brendan Britt & Edition’ and again this band entertained all over Victoria for another 10 years.

An established band `Chiodo’ approached Brendan in 1985 to become their lead singer, the band under the name Brendan Britt & Chiodo’ continued their success in Victoria & also became very successful in the Club scene throughout NSW for another 15 years, 10 years as Brendan Britt & Chiodo & another 5 years as `The Brendan Britt Band’.

The band entertained at many large functions over those years including playing for a large audience of Australian and overseas guests at the World Congress Centre Melbourne for the Australian Squash Masters Association.

Brendan has written Radio and T.V jingles, Compere at Shows, Dances, Dinners, Weddings and Corporate functions, entertained regular in Clubs & Civic Centre’s in Ballarat, Horsham, Geelong, Warrnambool, Melbourne, Echuca, Mildura, Albury, Broken Hill & venues in NSW & Queensland not forgetting the many towns in between.

He has had a half page article written about him in Ireland’s International Music Magazine `Country Music Plus’ in `News From Down Under’ *

Performed Shows on cruise ship’s in the International Lounge backed by the ships six piece resident Show band, cruising from Sydney to New Zealand.*
